Halogen type light sources can output all wavelengths of visible light (400mm to 750mm) powerfully and consistently. Using with a light guide, various lighting patterns can be achieved while saving space. They are the most common light source to process images.

Moritex designs and manufactures halogen lamps and light source devices Its MHF Series was developed based on accumulated data to be the most reliable. Products with various functions and options are available in outputs of50W, 100W, and 150W.

Lamp abnormality indication

An Indicator lamp on the front panel lights up when there Is a problem with the lamp. (When a lamp needs to be changed: burnout and over current)

Irbu can control light by selecting REMO on the switch on the front panel and supplying DC0-5V analog voltage from outside.

"foil can control light by selecting REMO on the switch on the Iront panel and connecting an external switching signal and 10Kfi volume.

\bu can turn off the lamp by inputting a DCSV signal from outside.

If the lamp's electrical current overflows, I the lamp will immediately turn off. If the temperature around the lamp passes a safe level, the lamp will turn off.

If the lamp exchange door Is open, the lamp will turn off to prevent electric shock. If the temperature around the lamp passes a sale level, the lamp will turn off.

Burnt-out lamp Is detected and a signal Is outputted.

A shutter unit with a light source device can be opened and closed when DC24V (0.32A) is supplied.

SO: Usually open. Closes under voltage SC: Usually closed. Opens under voltage

Light can be controlled by 8bit digital signals from outside. (7brt signal for MME-50LR)

Only compatible lamps can be used.

A number of lamps are lit up at the rated voltage and the time until filament breaks is distributed normally. Average life is calculated based on the peak time and the time when a half of the lamps' filament break.

Standard luminosity at 50mm from the fiber's end face at the maximum volume when Moritex standard light guide MSG4-2200S (FB/FBS: REF15) is mounted.
