ANTI CORROSIVE CHAIN

MAXTOP stainless steel chain is manufactured from AISI 304, which has excellent corrosion and heat resisting properties. It should be considered whenever extremely cold temperatures are encountered. SS-Chain does not have hardened round parts and should be selected when resistance to normal joint-wear is less essential then resistance to chemical action.

(Note; AISI 304 Chain is with slightly magnetic due to cold forming of parts. If a complete non-magnetic permeability is required, please consult MAXTOPfor AISI 316 grade)

"CR" chain is an excellent choice for drives requiring both corrosion

resistance and high allowable load. Parts are made from heattreated

standard carbon steel and with unique corrosion-resistant coating.

This coating consists of zinc flakes, chromate and pore-sealing, silver

-gray, smooth and uniform appearance. CR-Chains has excellent

corrosion resistance performance, warranty resistant to at least 500

hours of salt spray test(ASTM B117 by 5% NaCI solution). With equivalent

strength and wear resistant to standard carbon chains but longer lasting

than standard,nickel-plated and even zinc-plated chains and cost much

less than stainless steel chains.

(Note: CR-Chain is good for outdoor operation,wet environ -ment, and general alkali, but not recommendable for acid. If an acid application is required, please consult MAXTOPfor Acid Resistant Chain)

NP-Chain is ideal of shining outlook and situation of were the equipment must be operated in a mildly corrosive atmosphere.
