4/ Securing the belt. Position the belt clamp (8) on the belt aligned with the belt clamp levers (13), ensuring that it is in contact with the belt. Secure the belt by tightening the 2 screws of the belt grip (9). 5/ Positioning the head. With the advance lever (11) position the head carriage above the first 2 fasteners at the left side.

INSTALLATION.

1. Connect the tool (screwdriver, drill impact wrench...) to the hexagonal socket (13mm -1/2") fitted to the power point (10) of the head.2. Activate the drill until the clutch of the hydraulic machine releases. 3. Stop the tool. 4. Press the release lever (12) of the hydraulic head to raise the punch. The first 2 fasteners are installed.5. Slide the head by activating the advance lever (11), skip two fasteners and install set 2. 6. Install two and skip two all the way across the belt. 7. Return the head carriage to the left side and install the remaining fasteners from left to right. (Fig D)

Fig. D8. When all the fasteners are installed, withdraw the gauge pin (6). Loosen the 2 screws of the belt grip (9) and lift the belt clamp (8). Take the belt out. Check the work.

RECOMMENDATIONS.

1. In order to improve the working of the machine, lubricate regularly the grooves of the matrix (4). 2. In order to improve the sliding of the carriage (2), oil the guide rail (3) regularly. 3. In order to accommodate all operators, it is possible to rotate the hydraulic head (1) without loosening the security bolts (14). 4. Never clean the machine with a high pressure cleaner. 5. Do not use the belt clamp on skived belts. 6. Avoid the zone of moving parts (17) when jointing MLTMinet lacing Technology WWW.mlt-eu.com
