The PT-100 and PT-500 temperature sensors usetemperature-sensitive resistive elements. Changes
in temperature result in linear and proportional
changes in the resistance. These accurate platinum elements are placed in capillary tubes
with minimum wall thickness.It is important to install the temperature sensorswith great care. A radiation shield is recommended
for measurements of outside temperatures. Mierij Meteo can give you meteorological advice,to ensure optimum instrument performance.
The PT temperature sensors can easily be linkedto a Mierij Meteo measuring bridge. For a system
that includes this measuring bridge a maximum
drift of ±0.1°C can be warrantied for a periodof 3 years.The standard PT-100 and PT-500 sensors arespecified. A lot of other models are available on
