The road sensors are suitable for dense asphalt or asphalt with an open structure or brick pavement. Mierij Meteo Road Surface Temperature sensors are manufactured to withstand all forces which are applied to the roads surface due to the traffic as well the influences of heat, cold, rain and ice. The sensor is duplex (2 internal sensors). So if the sensor is malfunctioning, the other (internal) sensor can be connected until the whole sensor can be replaced. If necessary, deep soil temperature sensors can be used. The standard Road Surface Temperature sensor is equiped with an accurate 2,252 K NTC resistor. Other internal sensor are possible like PT-100 ect. Please contact us for additional information.
