Inclinometer

Combining a pair of DC accelerometers witha 12 bit A/D, mux, microcontroller, and D/A converter allows this miniature module to provide an analog voltage linearly proportional to inclination.The unit will measure 360 degrees ofinclination about one axis (pitch), or ± 70degrees of inclination about two axes (pitch and roll). FAS-A provides RS-232 and analog outputs linearly proportional to angle.

Applications

Single axis versus dual axis modes and their lowpass filter parameters are user programmable.
