Breadboard Support Posts XP Series Posts attach directly to Microlock™ Tiedowns in a breadboard providing a stable way to offset a breadboard from its primary support. The posts are offered in 5, 10, 15 and 20 in. (127, 254, 381, 508 mm) heights. Intermediate heights can be achieved by using the Model P-3, P-5, or P-7 platform posts between the breadboard and the support post. Ordering Information Model (Metric) Height [in. (127, 254, 381, and 508 mm) Microlock Tiedowns, optional on breadboards, are a unique Newport innovation that provide versatile and positive attachment of the breadboard directly to a table, XP Series Support Posts, or any other object with 1/4 -20 (M6) threaded holes. The Microlocks provide a vertical adjustment range of at least 1 in. (25 mm), positive locking of the height, and solid attachment to the primary structure of the board for optimum stability. Repositioning the Microlocks and/or adding more to a breadboard can be handled at the time of the breadboard order. Microlock-FT Mounting Feet are available for free-standing applications. These high-loadcapacity feet insert into the Microlocks and prevent the breadboard from scratching or marring the support surface.
