High-dynamic Positioning system with Linear motors The positioning system consists of the standardcomponents LMS-300 and LMS-180.Both travel stages are equipped with linear motors.Special features of this system are travel speeds up to400 mm/s and an acceleration of 0.8 g with minimalresponse time. All linear stages are equipped with high-quality Heidenhain Industrial encoders which guarantee a resolutionof more than 0.1µm. The system has a remarkable smooth move and a highrepeatability. The PXI System and Lab View of NationalInstruments is used as controller. The power amplifier of theSMC Taurus, Pegasus series was especially developed fordirect drives. The Xy stages have to be mounted with anorthogonality of 30 µrad. 20.000 hours MTBF are guaranteed. 3-Axes Inspection system This 3-axes positioning system wasespecially developed for the inspection ofsmall optical construction parts and is well-suited for tasks of reflected andtransmitted light microscopy.XY- adjustment is made by the Scan StageMS-8 with 8” travel range. The focus axisMT-85 at the granite angle serves for thefixation of CCD-cameras or sensors. The system can be used for various fields ofapplication.
