SpaceFAB SF-3000 With one SpaceFAB all sixdegrees of freedom can bemoved without additionalpositioning elements. The lowweight of the moving platformallows high-dynamic and precisepositioning processes. SpaceFAB was especially developed forapplications in fiber- optic alignmentand micro-robotics. Furthermore SpaceFAB is perfectlydesigned for fiber-fiber, fiber- waveguideand fiber-laser diode alignments. SpaceFAB is driven by high speed,backlash-free linear motors, or ballscewversion. A very quiet and dynamic smoothmove is guaranteed. Resolution up to 50 nm can be achieved. This system is equipped with turnkey driveand control electronics. With additionally integrated vision systems acomplete turnkey sytem can be offered.
