Metrosep Anion Dual 4 – 50 (6.1016.020)
The Metrosep Dual 4 columns are based on a newlydeveloped carrier material, namely a functionalized
monolith based on silica gel.The monolith allows aflow rate of the eluent up to 5 mL/min. The column is
characterized by small back-pressure despite the high
flow rate. In contrast to traditional materials the monolith has amuch larger surface due to its structureof macroporesand mesopores. This results in a high capacity of the
column and a very small dead volume.The Metrosep Dual 4 – 50 is suitable for a great num-ber of applications. Thus, all standard anions can be
separated in less than five minutes. The high column
capacity makes it to a large extent insensitive to
matrix influences.The column may be used with or without chemicalsuppression. It is recommended to install the RP Trap
Column (6.1014.100) between the pulsation absorber
and the injection valve, if p-cyanophenol is used as
