The computer-controlled tag feed marking system is a totally automated system for marking tags up to 150 mm in length on the standard units. Customized machines can be ordered for extremely large tags.

The tag feeder is equipped with an adjustable loading rack, which can be quickly readjusted for a wide range of tag sizes. Standard machine size is 15 mm to 75 mm for width and 20 mm to 105 mm for length.

Tag feed system of operations will be as follows:

Using the thumbscrews you first adjust the stacker that holds the blank tags, once this is completed the guide rails can be adjusted for the width of the tag. You then adjust the pusher rod for the length of tag you are marking.

The tags can be manually advanced until one has been located under the marking head. Once in place the feeder system automatically locks the tag to be marked into place. This locking device assures precise repeatability. Afterthis you need only to program the MC-2000 foryour marking requirements.

At this point, you have the options of marking the tag by manually entering the required part number and "X" "Y" coordinates via the keyboard or through the automatic mode. When using the automatic mode you will have the options to down load from another source or to simply use one of the preprogrammed files that you have created.

After marking, the tag system will discharge the tag into a hopper located at the end of the feeder.

The MC-2000 plate feed system is equipped to mark in both manual and automatic modes. The manual mode gives you the ability to perform any one of the tag system functions through a series of push buttons located on the front ofthe machine. By simply moving the selector switch to the manual mode you can now move the pusher bar forward to check for clearance in the systems rails or mark a single tag to check mark location and quality of mark.

The MC-2000 tag feeder is also equipped with warning signals in case of a system jam or if the machine runs out of tags. The control box can also be programmed to mark a specified number of tags or mark until the stacker is empty.
