35 Warehouse Management System. It runs all the storage operations, optimising the time and use of warehouse space. Its EasyWMS® software facilitates the control of processes and enables a simple access to all the information. P&D Station. The P&D Station of the warehouse (picking and handling area) is located at the side or at the front of the racking. It deals with the mechanical movements needed to bring either the boxes closer to the operator or the stacker crane, so that they can be picked up and returned to their position in the warehouse. 1) Racking 2) Stacker crane 3) P&D Station 4) Computer system 1 4 3 2 Racking. Designed to coincide perfectly with the movement of the stacker crane and intended for the storage of boxes in height. Its design allows for a better use of space and increased storage capacity, by optimizing the movements of the robot. Stacker Crane. This robotic element is responsible for carrying out the positioning and extraction of the boxes in the racking, as well as transport them and place them on the table of the head of the warehouse. It can perform two movements: longitudinal over the rail along the aisle, and vertical to place the boxes on the different levels of the racking.
