McQuaid’s range of pedestal boom systems are designed for use on Jaw, Impact, Cone and Gyratory crushers as well as other applications such as breaking oversized material on the Grizzly. The range consists of 9 models with horizontal reach of 3m to 9m. Manufactured from the highest quality materials to withstand the toughest of applications, the range is built to ensure safety and increase production. The booms are adoptable as they offer 180 or 360 degree slewing and also offer either two or three jib options depending on the customers requirements.For our pedestal booms we offer a complete boom system package. Along with our pedestal boom we supply a hydraulic power unit, operating controls (manual or remote), hydraulic breaker, and supporting steelwork.A full customer support service is provided right from the selection stage where our engineers advise on the most suited boom package for your requirements, through to the site installation of the boom and furthermore to our after sales spare parts service, where we stock full spare parts delivery globally. McQuaid’s mobile boom systems are designed for mobile crusher applications. Their compact dimensions enable the boom to remain on the crusher during transport thus eliminating down-time on site for assembly and disassembly.The range consists of 8 models with horizontal reach of 1.9 to 5.7m.By design can integrate onto all makes and models of mobile crusher and have been successfully installed onto models of Kleemann, Terex-Finlay, Terex-Pegson, Extec, Metso/Nordberg, Hartl-Crushtek, Hartl- Powercrusher, Parker, Tesab, Gipo and Continentail Nord.As a general rule the mobile boom is powered directly from the mobile crushers own hydraulic system, therefore eliminating the need in most cases for a separate hydraulic power supply. For our mobile booms we offer a complete boom system package.
