LOSS-IN-WEIGHT MICRO FEEDERS
Fine dosing Opti- feeder FD- SP or FD- MP
Batch or continuous feeding.
Description:
Extraction
Fine dosing loss-in-weigh feeders are based on a exclusive technical principle: the extractor is
animated by a field of linear acceleration of high energy and low amplitude, which is reversed
several times per second, with a return speed 15 times faster than forward speed.
This asymmetry associated with the intensity of shearing forces produce a extremely efficient
extraction of powder or granular: It gives quick and accurate feeding and good efficiency for
powders with poor flowability.
Opti feeder are available in 2 sizes FD FD SP or MP.
Gravimetric feeding
The accurate load cell integrated in the feeder helps eliminate many influences exerted by the
product: such as changes in density and flowability of product, and also filling rate of the hopper.
In batch mode, the commutation point between coarse and fine flow can be set on the controller,
which in reality selects high and low frequencies on the inverter of the extractor’s motor.
Thus, the coarse feeding ensures a fast process time, and fine feeding a good precision. The
difference in speed between these two regimes is essential to the performance of the feeder.
Fine dosing extraction system gives a ratio higher than 100.
