MASTER BOND POLYMER SYSTEM EP62-1MED
Two Component Epoxy Resin System Featuring Superb Temperature and Chemical Resistance Particularly to Sterilants Including Chemicals, Steam, Radiation and Gas. Offers Very Long Working Life at Room Temperature. Requires a Moderately Elevated Temperature Cure, Very Fast Cure @ 200°-250°F. Meets USP Class VI Requirements.
Product Description
Master Bond Polymer System EP62-1MED is a two component epoxy adhesive, sealant, coating, and encapsulant featuring outstanding temperature and chemical resistance. It has wide applicability for use in medical devices, particularly because of its ability to withstand repeated sterilization including steam, chemicals, ethylene oxide and radiation. One very attractive feature of EP62-1MED is its exceptionally long working life at room temperature. EP62-1MED requires an elevated temperature cure for 6-8 hours at 100°C. EP62-1MED is a superb adhesive with outstanding physical properties and a superior electrical insulation profile. It bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, glass, ceramics, wood and many plastics. The mix ratio is 100 to 10 by weight. The color of part A is clear and part B is brown. Its service temperature range is an outstanding -60°F to 400°F (-50°C to 205°C). In addition, it fully meets USP Class VI requirements.
