Ultrasonic Console Workstations - Type CT Overview The modular Power Sonics ultrasonic console tanks are commonly used as tabletop, benchtop, or cellular stand alone washers. This modular design also allows creating a custom cleaning line arrangement from standard equipment. Changing and adding to the arrangement is simple and provides endless versatility as your needs change. The 20 kHz magnetostrictive transducers provide the ultimate in cleaning power meeting your most stringent cleaning needs. High Intensity Ultrasonic Power As the name implies, power in the bath directly affects cleaning capability. The 20 kHz magnetostrictive transducer, driven as a uniform unit by an intense generator signal, optimizes energy transfer to the bath to maximize ultrasonic scrubbing. By exploiting all factors in design and construction, power levels of 10 Watts per square inch are achieved. S tandard Console Tank Features • 316L stainless steel on all wetted surfaces • Strip heaters controlled through an integral front mounted thermostat • Double walled construction with removable stainless steel panels • Insulated walls for heat and sound control • Adjustable legs allow for easy leveling • Lip flange for optional drop-in mounting • Unobstructed tank interior for working convenience and safety K it Options Available • Workstation base for each Type CT tank size to elevate tank to counter height for operator convenience • Console panel kit with drain board to join two CT tanks of the same size • Liquid level switch to provide a contact closure to monitor liquid level status • Overflow weir for continuous solution overflow • Insulated lid in hinged or lift off versions • Caster set for mobility • Non-ultrasonic tanks can be equipped with a spray rinse or an air blow-off manifold • All tanks are built to accept any of these kits on a field retrofit basis with complete hardware and instructions. Power Sonics can also mechanically assemble and integrate your console tank line-up at the factory.
