| Colour: White, brown, beige Fixing: 3mm screws through slots, to provide greater ease of adjustment. Counterplate: As the pole pieces are fixed, the closures are supplied with Y5 or Y7 mobile plates. The counterplate is riveted to its plastic base and has a slight degree of movement which enables it to take up play. It is mounted using 3mm diameter round headed screws. | Especially designed for use on domestic oven doors the assembly is made from stainless steel. The maximum temperature is 280oC and the holding power is practically constant throughout the temperature range. The construction of the catch is extremely robust and integral leaf springs ensure good shock absorption with flexibility of the pole pieces to take up misalignment.
