MAGNAFLUX YM5 PERMANENT MAGNETConsists of Hinged arms and rotating pole pieces to allow a wide variety of profiles tobe magnetised whilst the specially shaped pole pieces permit easy removal from the component. Elements of the YM5 are cast in Magloy 1 for maximum magnetic fieldstrength. YM5 RE–MAGNETISER For your convenience Magnaflux supply a re – magnetisingunit to bring the YM5 back to its lifting capability of 18 Kg. IToperates by discharging batteries through coils in which thelegs are positioned. YM 5 YOKE Supplied with keeper bar, which has false indications so you can easily check the magnetisation strength.Features of the YM5 Field strength, with pole tips in contact, greater than 7,000 gauss. Field strength in centre of 50mm air gap, more than 400gauss. Weighs only 3Kg. Pull Test - More than 18 Kgs (40 lbs).
