| | | 4 Installation and Maintenance | | |
| | | |
| | | Storage & Installation | | |
| | | |
| | | If hydraulic buffers are not installed upon delivery, they must be stored on wooden pallets at a appropriate place in the interim time. During storage, they must be kept clean and protected from deleterious effects. In order to prevent condensation of water, air circulation must be ensured. The installation of the buffers is recommended to be carried out by mageba specialists. In any case, mageba will prepare an installation manual for the delivered hydraulic buffers. | | |
| | | |
| | | Inspection & Maintenance | | |
| | | |
| | | Thanks to the use of high quality components, the application of advanced design methods and a functioning quality assurance system, mageba hydraulic buffers can be regarded as maintenance free. Nevertheless, mageba recommends an inspection to be carried out at least every 3 years. Upon delivery of the buffers, mageba submits to the Engineer an inspection and maintenance manual, allowing a regular and appropriate inspection to be carried out by the operations and maintenance staff. | | |
