The explosion-proof models of Lutz drum pumpsprovide optimum protection when handling easilycombustible, highly inflammable material and when working in potentially explosive environments. The drum pumps are made of stainless steel (1.4571)and are thus certified for zone 0. They comply withall the international standards and provisions as well as with the directives according to Atex 100a.

Due to their carefully adapted material combinations,the modular drum pumps by Lutz are well suited foralmost all applications, in which thin-bodied and low-viscous media need to be pumped. PP and PVDF are a good match for acids and caustic solutions,aluminium is particularly suited for oil and coolinglubricants. Pumping units made of stainless steel orHC steel are suited for delivering neutral, aggressiveand non-combustible fluids.
