Industrial, High Repetition Rate Picosecond Laser

Applications: The RAPID series of picose cond lasers is designed for industrial micro processing; it offers a new level of precision and versatility.The RAPID series ps-lasers can ablate any material with minimum thermal side effects and with high precision. The lateral resolution is in the µm-range; depth control is about 10nm. The photo shows 30 µm cuts produced in a metal foil. Other applications include material research, wave guide writing, glass scribing and wel- ding; ps-spectroscopy, nonlinear optics like UV generation and OPO/OPG pumping, and ranging.
