Two new bridge parts made of reinforced concrete are
built up to replace an old brick railroad bridge. Each part
of the bridge is lifted with LUKAS high tonnage locknut
cylinders and positioned onto the traversing units. After
the demolition of the old bridge the new bridge parts are
shifted from the left and the right into a perfect position.
Then the rail network can be open again.
Material testing institutes are using LUKAS Hydraulic
Cylinders for analyzing the stability of different constructional
elements. The stability of a concrete beam is tested.
A tension test is carried out with a component.
