LUBRA CUT 1010 - 1

METALWORKING FLUIDS DESCRIPTION LubraCut 1010 is a 100% tramp oil rejecting synthetic metalworking fluid. It is designed to machine cast iron, steel, and stainless steel. PROPERTIES • Rejects Tramp Oil • 100% True Synthetic • Excellent Corrosion Protection • Excellent Tool Life/Wheel Life • Pleasant Odor • Cleaner Working Environment • Low Maintenance Costs • Low Foaming SPECIFICATIONS Metal removal from cutting or grinding will generate heat, and this heat gain can be very destructive to tooling. LubraCut 1010 is properly formulated to remove heat rapidly, while protecting the machine tool and machined parts. These ingredients will properly lubricate the part and reduce the friction force present, thereby increasing tool life and reducing operational costs. MONITORING CONCENTRATION 1) Take the refractive index reading and multiply it by 2.4 to determine the concentration. Concentration (%) = RI reading x 2.4 BIOLOGICAL CONTROL Using a unique blend of ingredients, LubraCut 1010 rejects tramp oil which otherwise would result in inconsistent machining performance and increased rancidity. By removing the tramp oil off the surface, LubraCut 1010 provides consistent stable performance. CORROSION PROTECTION The prevention of corrosion is a vital concern in metalworking. The fluid must supply adequate protection to eliminate oxidation from other chemicals and air. LubraCut has special inhibitors selected to form a chemicalmetal bond that prevents oxidation. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: 1. Determine the system size. 2. Take the system size and multiply by the recommended percentage of LubraCut 1010 3. Slowly add the recommended amount of LubraCut 1010 to water and mix well. The most important method of controlling bacterial growth is good housekeeping of the system. Therefore, it is very important to thoroughly clean all areas of the coolant system before charging it with fresh new coolant.
