v i t y Drying and Reaction Technology In the area of reacting and drying technology, Lödige develops, produces and supplies subsystems for precisely reproducible processes using pressure, vacuum and mechanical and thermal energy. Multi-level reaction and drying processes can thus be carried out in a single unit. The fluid bed mechanically generated by the Lödige mixing principle enables the process times for chemical reactors and dryers to be drastically reduced in the following process steps •mixing •reacting •drying. Our high standard enables processes to be carried out within the following parameters: • temperatures up to 650 °C • vacuums down to 10–6 mbar • pressures up to 40 bar Consistent process design, comprehensive basic engineering and specific execution, e.g. with special sealing systems and special mixing tools enable an optimum process solution to be implemented in line with product requirements. Tailormade system concepts and user friendly control units are an integral part of our services for broad areas of the chemicals industry. Along with drying applications, the cellulose derivate industry represents a particularly important sector. Customer Service The focus of our customer service is to cooperate closely with the works management by using its extensive potential to ensure safe, uninterrupted operation of the unit. This service includes amongst others: • Remote maintenance • Maintenance contracts for new units • Maintenance contracts for ageing units with successive adaptation to new machine standards • All inclusive contracts • Retrofitting • Advice to comprehensive conversion, in particular to obtain higher health and safety standards • Extensive stock of approx. 200.000 spare parts • Fastest possible manufacture of spare parts • Instruction and training for operators • Support with reference to process technologies • Rental machines service 9
