Thèse comprises, for example, ► Amoderndatabank-basedCAE System ► Ail the methods for quality assurance, fulfilling ISO 9001, from tender to shipping and maintenance, including engineering and contract handling control ► Computer programs based on proven and/or codified calculation methods: - Proprietary program for the sélection and recalculation of reciprocating compressors, based on expérience over décades and continuously perfected *) - Several programs for calculating non-ideal gas properties, among others Chemshare and GPAdatabase program - Torsional vibration analysis with simulation of linear and non-linear forced vibration Systems *) - Design programs for couplings and belt drives *) - Programs for the calculation of dynamic foundation loads due to unbalanced inertial forces and moments and for anti-vibration foundations *) - Stress and strain calculations with the Finite Elément Method, for especially stressed parts such as Connecting rods, crossheads and pistons (ANSYS) - Various auxiliary programs, for example stress calculations to ANSI B31.3, ASME, AD Codes, VDI 2230 etc. for ail major parts, for interférence fit calculations with elastic and plastic déformation, for the design of journal bearings, and many more. *) ► The lay-out of pressure vessel and piping Systems is checked depending on the spécification, size and complexity by a pulsation simulation software, licenser REBIS. This applies to gas pulsations, mechanical vibrations and thermal and weight-induced stresses. For simple Systems with minor variation of the operating conditions, at least a proprietary check for pressure peaks (damper check) and for acoustical résonances (critical lengths, Heimholtz résonances) is carried out. *) *) proprietary LMF developments
