| Manufacturing dissipative paints is an involved technical process. Expensive testing and measurement are necessary to ensure the quality standards required for ESD applications. Furthermore, technical considerations mean that not all colours are available in dissipative versions. | Note: Avoid custom colours wherever possible. The only exceptions to this rule are large orders, or if the customer is willing to bear 100% of the extra cost involved. | ESD-standards Lista ESD products have been tested and approved according to the IEC 61340 (exceeds EN 100015) international standards. All ancillary products like bench tops, wrist straps, mats, chairs, etc. comply with this standard as well as generally accepted safety standards. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| 1. Conductivity ESD products need to be dissipative, and this is achieved by adding conductive particles to the powdered pigment. This means that all ESD colours have a higher black component. The specified RAL and NCS colour designations nonetheless refer to regular colours, without added particles. Differences in the visual appearance of ESD paints are therefore unavoidable. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 2. Clear visual distinction Distinctive ESD colours should prevent customers from confusing our regular and ESD products. This measure also avoids the risk of confusion during assembly and packing at the Lista factories. | 3. Established colours for ESD applications RAL 7032 (Siemens Petrol) and RAL 7035 (light grey) are already popular colours in the ESD market. Listas ESD colour system acknowledges this fact and blends in very well with existing equipment colours.
