2 - resin is readily soluble in alcohols (except methanol), in ketones, in esters and in chlorinated hydro- carbons. Viscosity at 20 °C, 50 % solution in butyl acetate/butanol (DIN 53 015) Softening Point (DIN 53 736) Water Content (DIN 51 777 T.1) Acid Number (DIN 53 402) Iodine Colour Number, 50 % solution in butyl acetate/ butanol (DIN 6162) mPa L
2 - resin is an efficient binder for manufacturing of paints for surface treatment of wood, metal and paper. It excels by good solubility, fast drying, neutrality and unsaponifiability. L
2 -resin gives an outstanding drying capacity from drying of the surface to through-hardening, higher fastness to light and higher hardness. L
2 -resin is readily compatible with aminoplastics, with a wide range af drying and non-drying alkyd resins, epoxyesters, chlorinated rubber, phenolic and polyester resins. L Packing/Storage/
2 -resin is also readily compatible with modified resins, ester and alcohol soluble cellulose nitrate as well as with any grades of plasticizers. Transportation
2 - resin is supplied in 25 kg multi-ply paper bags. The product should be stored in closed bags under protection against water and uv light. Under these storage conditions, L L
2 - resin shows no change in quality even at prolonged storage time exceeding 12 month. Safety Requirements
