Dimensioning Service brake
To be dimensioned in accordance with VDI Guideline 2241.The brake has to be dimensioned in accordance with the required braking torque. The inertias to be braked (moments of inertia), relative speeds, deceleration times and operating frequencies must
be included in the calculations. If your normal operating conditions are non-standard, please contactyour Lenze salesoffice. The friction surfaces mustbe keptfree of oil and grease atall times.Calculate the required braking torque. Inputspeed to be braked ∆ n >
