The current position is recognized due to a code on the measuring target, know as the code disk. Where as the single-turn absolute encoders measure the absolute position within a 360° revolution, the multi-turn absolute encoders measure at the same time the number of revolutions. The absolute rotary encoders are designed for use in a harsh industrial environment and resist even very high mechanical stresses. | | Even after system movements during a mains failure, a multi-turn absolute encoder can determine certainty the current position after a system restart. The code disk is designed in such a way that the risk of transmitting erroneous position data is almost completely excluded in pratice. The absolute position within a full turn is determined by scanning of the coding disk. Forthe determination of the multi-turn revolutions, additional gear wheels are used. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | -Multi-turn absolute encoder | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Type | GEL15XF | | | | Flange | Aluminium | | | | Housing | Aluminium | | | | Shaft diameter | 6,10,12 mm | | | | Shaft load | axial 250 N/radial250 N | | | | Max. revolutions | 3000 min 1 | | | | Temperature range | -40 °C...+85°C | | | | Protection class | IP 65/66 | | | | Supplyvoltage | 11 ... 30 V DC | | | | Code output | Programmable, Gray, binary, BCD, Gray-tanne, binary-tanne, SSI | | | | | | | | | | | | | 65 mm | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 0LENORD+BAUER 8 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
