Temperature sensor As well as measuring the rotary speed, the temperature in the motor windings are also monitored in engines for rail vehicles. For this purpose, Lenord + Bauer provides a temperature sensor based on Pt100/1000 measuring elements. The standard sensor design alone offers a large number of options. A flexible combination of rotary speed sensors, temperature sensors, cables, protective sleeves and connectors enables the best fit for users‘ requirements. • 2-, 3- or 4-conductor technology • Compact design • Stainless steel measuring tube • Temperature range from –40° to +250°C • Simple flange mounting Electronic odometer Accurate measurements of the mileage of freight or tank wagons are essential for efficient maintenance and rationalised operation. The odometer for monitoring the mileage of wagons or wheelsets is mounted on the bearing cover of the wheelset. The measured data is quickly and securely read with a mobile reader and can then be easily processed on a PC.
