100801 Vacuum box
The VB 01 vacuum box provides for the extraction of fluids under vacuum. Thanks to itsspecial extraction system, the process can be carried out single-handed and in any location. >
Do not extract flammable fluids EXPLOSION HAZARDDo not extract acids or alkaline solutions.
Applications: The vacuum box ( 1 ) can be usedto extract water, coolant, refrige-rant, brake fluid and oil (engine oil,
gearbox oil, compressor oil) etc.
The venturi professional nozzle generates a
vacuum of -0.7 bar.
Procedure: 1.Close drain valve ( 4 ) (lever hori-zontal).2.Connect the workshop
pneumatics supply to the venturi nozzle ( 2 ). Open the valveon the vacuum box ( 3 ) (lever pointing upwards), thereby generating a vacuum.3.Observe the
vacuum gauge; when it indicates -0.7 bar 4. Close the inlet valve (3) (lever horizontal). A partial vacuum of -0.7 bar now prevailsinside the box.5.Remove venturi nozzle ( 2 ).6.To carry out the extraction process, connect one end of the flexible tube supplied to thevacuum box and immerse the other end in the fluid.7.When the valve (3) is opened, the extraction process will start automatically.Fluid capacity at -0.7 bar is approx. 7 litres.8.Check the vacuum by referring to the vacuum gauge ( 5 ).9.On completing the process, empty the box by way of the drain valve ( 4 ) (lever pointingupwards). Caution : Always connect the compressed air supply to the venturi nozzle, n e v e r to the connecting nipple on the box!
D o n o t open the vacuum box. It is coated with sealing paint. >
