Universal adaptor UA 50

Utility Patent 297 13 134.6 The new developped cooling adaptor can be applied for openings with diameters from 19 to 40 mm (0.8 to 1.6 in.). Due to this vaste application area almost all cooling systems of car manufacturers worldwide are covered.Its very special construction with 3-step connection-adaptor and the elastical material, that takes theshape of a ball, provide a reliable and secure fixing into the cooling system-openings. Attention: before removing the universal adaptor on cooling system professional tester activate pressurerelease valve! Attention with hot cooling system - risk of burning!Application: both, the rubber and opening,which have to be sealed must be clean and dry. Any residualsof oil, grease, glycol etc. must be removed, otherwise the required holding force cannot be achieved. by turning the upper and lower handwheel you achieve a radial deformation of the rubber (s. sketch). There are 6 different deformation steps which stand for a correct and save fixing in the induvidual radiator or expansion vase openings. the fixing can be adjusted and improved by turning the threaded spindle. please take care, that the end of the adaptor does not immerse into the cooling water. after the save fixing of the universal adaptor you can start checking the cooling system by pressurizing it. When the test is finished, put rubber in starting position (relieve the tension)
