Digging
Basic Digging Systems
The Leica Depthmaster is an ideal tool for any kind of height control for excavators. Simply turn the excavator dipper into an integrated measuring stick without having to leave the cabin. It is simple to set-up and can be used with any rotating laser.
Paving
Leica Basic Paving Systems such as Mobamatic
Conventionally, road pavers are controlled for elevation and cross-slope by stringlines with
ultrasonic or mechanical height sensors, ground-sensing ultrasonic, or laser road-scanning, height sensors, rotating laser beacon and laser receivers, or cross-slope sensors.
Leica DigSmart
Leica DigSmart is a level and dual slope solution providing excavator operators with real-time depth, reach and slope information, in relation to any reference, on an easy-to-read graphical display mounted in the cab. With the same display, the system is weighing and logging the moved material.
Paving 3D solutions
There are Leica PaveSmart 3D solutions for Slipform Pavers, Curb & Gutter machines, Trimmers, and RoadPaving covering GOMACO and WIRTGEN technology. Fully automatic grade and steer control using 3D sensor technology means you can pave exactly where and when you want to, not where you're forced to.
Leica DigSmart 3D
The Leica DigSmart 3D solution brings faster setup, easy operation, improved productivity, reliable support and Leica Geosystems quality to 3D excavator machine guidance. Leica DigSmart 3D
utilises an electronic design file of the site and
advanced dual GNSS technology to accurately guide the operator where to dig, and how much - with
centimetre accuracy.
