How to choose the right
SPECDILAS® IR-XXXX- or SPECDILAS® IRCC-XXXX- or F-XXXX- or FCC-XXXX-
for your applications? To find the best laser for every spectroscopic application we defined a set of options. This is the explanation of all acronyms and options.
SPECDILAS IR:
Single mode Spectroscopic Diode Lasers emitting Infrared Radiation in the range of 3250 cm-1 to 1000 cm-1 at diode laser temperatures > 80 K.
Single mode Spectroscopic Diode Lasers emitting Infrared Radiation in the range of 2500 cm-1 to 1000 cm-1 at diode laser temperatures < 80 K.
Spectral position in units of cm-1.
Multi mode diode lasers emitting Infrared Radiation in the range of 3250 cm-1 to 1000 cm-1 at diode laser temperatures > 80 K.
Multi mode diode lasers emitting Infrared Radiation in the range of 2380 cm-1 to 660 cm-1 at diode laser temperatures < 80 K. Wavenumbers below 660 cm-1 are available on special request.

Exact Match to 1 out of 4 customer specified wavenumbers.
Spectral position has been identified using a reference gas and a database
Guaranteed radiation power of > 0.25 mW
Any exception from standard features or options
2.) Only for single mode diode lasers (IR + IRCC)
General Measurement Purpose means there are modes according to the standard features around the specified position with a tolerance of ± 12 cm-.
Based on the GMP option it offers a wider mode length of > 3 cm-1
Based on the GMP option it offers a higher mode purity of SMS > 20 dB
Guaranteed radiation power of > 0.5 mW
3.) Only for multi mode lasers (F + FCC) Guaranteed radiation power of > 1 mW
Based on the GMP option it offers a broader coverage of ± 25 cm-1 (F-Lasers) or ± 40 cm-1 (FCC-Lasers), i.e. there are modes corresponding to the standard features with a tolerance of ± 25 cm-1. or 40 cm-1, respectively.
Based on the GMP option the customer can select the laser to be shipped out of 2 test reports that all meets the specification.
