Lanemark TRX series packaged, high efficiency, small diameterimmersion tube tank heating systems meet the needs ofindustrial process tanks which have heat input requirements ofup to 45 kW (150,000 Btu/h). Built to the same exactingstandards as the larger capacity TX modular tank heating burnersystems, the TRX burner incorporates burner, gas train andcontrol system and is packaged tosimplify/minimise plant installation work.Specific advantages compared with alternativetank heating methods – Low operating costs – operating efficiencies of>80%gross calorific value>90%net calorific value TRX small diameter immersion tube heatexchangers occupy minimal tank space. This enablessmaller tanks for new plant designs and allows thesimple replacement of other heating systems for retrofitapplications.TRX immersion tubes can be configured inalmost any multi-pass shape to ensure that they remainwell clear of any internal tank fittings orprocessing areas. All tank heat input and immersion tube performancecalculations are easily carried out using Lanemark’sdedicated computer design software. Induced draught combustion air system allows multipleburner systems to be connected to a common flue whileretaining individual burner control. Operates with low gas supply pressures. Firing into rubber lined or fibre glass tanks is permitteddue to low initial heat exhanger surface temperatures attank connection. Simple heat exchanger installation requires only twopipe flange drillings, usually in one tank wall.
TRX burners conform with European Standards EN 676 and EN 746 as appropriate and are pre-wired and tested prior to despatch.
