It is the quality of this preparation which will condition and optimise the rest of the process. The CAMEO® DISK PLATINIUM is a diamond disc (fixed abrasive) ideal for the rapid preparation of metallographic samples. Efficiency, reproducibility, flatness For a process usually carried out with several silicon carbide abrasive papers, LAM PLAN® offers a unique, reusable diamond disc. The CAMEO® DISK PLATINIUM performances in terms of stock removal reduce the work time on the part, thus guaranteeing the flatness of the sample, an indispensable condition for the success of your metallographic study. The patented alveolus structure of the CAMEO® DISK PLATINIUM optimises the circulation of the lubricant. The abrasion residues are evacuated, guaranteeing constant abrasive power and thus a regularity in results throughout the truing up stage. The use of a diamond abrasive integrated in the alveolus structure of the CAMEO® DISK PLATINIUM makes it possible to conserve constant stock removal throughout the operation, which avoids the appearance of edge deterioration (including for samples of heterogeneous hardness).
