PATTERN BLOWING: >Blowing of the pattern and the pattern plate after pattern draw and before lifting to take over a new flask and filling frame PATTERN SPRAYING: >Spraying takes place in the compaction station, after taking over the flask and the filling frame, during lowering of the mould package. Spraying may also be effected manually if the mould package is off the squeeze station. FILLING: >The moulding sand is filled uniformly intothe mould package located at the external pattern changing station directly from the hopper discharge belt via a feeder provided with guide plates.
