34 2low space requirements The small dimensions of the kuka compact ro-bots enable them to be used in even the tightest of spaces. Installation requires the smallest of footprints. 1strong arm 3simple operator control The robot arm is designed to be able to withstand enormous forces and torques. The load center of gravity can thus be located at a great distance from the robot base, allowing a wide range of tool op- tions for the most varied of tasks. The user interface conforms to Windows™ stan-dards and is thus highly intuitive to operate. This means that the systems can be put into operation and adapted to new requirements or tasks with a minimum of training. 4variable tool mounting

All energy and fluid supply systems are integra-ted into the robot so that the motion ranges of the axes remain unrestricted and customer-speci- fic tools can be adapted at any time. Almost any application with high-precision requirements can be performed by the new compact robots.
