Description
• Intermediate flange model for use as wafer-type or dead-end
valve at full operating pressure
• Single piece (up to DN 500) or two piece (from DN 600) body
with integrated flange seal
• Short face-to-face length to EN 558-1/20 (was: DIN 3202/K1)
• Non-rising stem with non-rising handwheel
• As a standard, valve gate made of 1.4571 up to DN 400
• Confined U-shaped rod seal made of EPDM
• Transverse seal with gland packing
• Robust yoke for actuator mounting as a standard
• Corrosion protection of all steel and cast iron parts with
epoxy coating (200 ìm), colour RAL 5015 blue

• Valve disc made of 1.4571/AISI 316 Ti (from DN 450)
• Stem made of 1.4571/AISI 316 Ti

• Seal material made of NBR or viton (U-shaped rod seal and

The valves satisfy the safety requirements of Annex I of the
European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC (PED)
for fluids in Groups 1(b) and 2.
The valves comply with the safety requirements of the ATEX
Directive 94/9/EC and can be used in potentially explosive
atmospheres, group II, category 2 (zones 1+21) and category
3 (zones 2+22).
