The new V Panel line based on ETX® technology offers supreme computing The CANopen, DeviceNet or Profibus fieldbuses can optionally be integra-performance with processors based on Intel's Pentium® M technology at ted directly on board,
extreme low power consumption. The ETX® technology permits scalable CPU performances for a wide range of industrial applications. The integra­ted innovative cooling concept realizes passive and fanless cooling for the highest processor performance up to Pentium® M.
Kontron's Micro Clients (Thin Clients) are cost conscious human machine inter­faces. They achieve a superior price/performance ratio through a combination of reduced hardware costs, reduced maintenance and support costs, reduced down time, improved performance and enhanced security. All programs run on a central web or Windows server, so that only visualization and user input pro­ceed locally. Thanks to the use of ETX® modules, the Micro Clients are scaleable
in processor performance to suit individual requirements and a variety of applica­tions. Whether as thin client, web client, user terminal or as controller a wide variety of requirements can be realized quickly and inexpensively using these HMI systems. The innovative fanless cooling concept allows for a compact, space-saving system. Shock and vibration resistance, thermal stability and compliance with the strictest EMC standards are standard features for all Micro Clients.
