About the Workshop Leader
Nick Lena, Director of Technical Services, Sales and Marketing Manager for the Radiometric Products and Solutions Group, Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, has 12 years of experience in the commercial lighting industry specializing in working with mass merchandisers and chain stores, designing and implementing store lighting interiors. He has degrees in both Engineering and Business and has taught over 300 Color and Appearance technical symposiums.
He is the author of several course books and has been the highly sought after guest speaker for such organizations as Detroit Color Council, Color Marketing Group, Estee Lauder, General Motors, Mattel, Honda, Jaguar, Boeing, Bayer, American Greeting, Microsoft, American Gem Trading Association, Frigidaire, Steelcase and The American Society of Appraisers.
Nick is a Chairperson for the American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM), Inter-Society Color Council (ISCC), Detroit Color Council, Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC), and has been a member of the Illumination Engineering Society of North America (IES) since 1972. Nick has a wealth of practical lighting and color experience and an in-depth technical understanding as well as possessing an entertaining presentation style that makes this symposium a "must attend" event.
