VIVID 9i provides high precision, making it well suited for thedimensional measurement demands of industrial processes such as dies, casting, forging, sheet metal and molded plasticspart production. The VIVID 9i serves as an on-line inspectionstation, or as a portable off-line digitizing tool in the field. Precise, full part accuracy of better than 50 microns. A single scan takes 2.5 seconds and can measure over 300,000 points, simultaneously capturing both shape and color data. Interchangeable lenses enable VIVID 9i to measure volumes from “coins to cars”. VIVID 9i is compatible with most third party point processing software. A user calibration system is includedto enhance accuracy and compensate for ambient conditions.Auto-alignment options include turn tables and Photogrammetry. VIVID 910 is well suited for a variety of markets including med-ical, architecture, cultural heritage, educational, and archaeo- logical restoration. The VIVID 910 captures over 300,000points in 2.5 seconds and offers a view finder and flash RAMdata storage to give you the freedom to take scan data without having to bring along your workstation. PSC-1 Photogrammetry from Konica Minolta furtherenhances scanning of large objects by automating registra-tion of individual scans, and eliminating the tedium and error inherent in the hand-alignment process. When used with the PSC-1, the VIVID 9i reads the target data and automatically places the scans in their correct orientation.
