The characteristics of genuine parts are listed below:

• Smooth startability
• Less noise
• Less vibration
• Long life expectancy
Differences by Symptom:
3) Differences in Dimensions
Although it is hard to distinguish by appearances, you can find some functional differences. Have a look closely and carefully to find critical points in the following photographs shown below.

Note: The rivets may be copied from the genuine old type disc and are diverted to imitation unity disc.

Note: Replacement of clutch facing is done only and you find rebuilt disc and old damper are used, since old and deformed damper won't work as expected.
4) Differences in Appearances [Damper]
You can see what happens if imitation parts are used:

Color of bushing Genuine: White Imitation: Light yellow The bushing for CP is used for RP.
Positioning holes for CP and
RP
Imitation is not in alignment with standard bushing holes.
Torsion spring windows on CP and RP are in different shape, while imitation disc is in straight shape.
Problems caused by judder

Easy wear and burnout disc with unmatched clutch facing.
Broken up damper with unmatched clutch disc to the engine.
