Measuring Wheels and Measuring Hubs
RoaDyn measuring hubs offer a wide range of mechanical and electrical interfaces enabling quick adaptation for different test stands. This ease of compatibility and fully digital processing of data through to the stage of program evaluation facilitates use of RoaDyn measuring hubs in different environments. Kistler engineers also lend assistance with customized interfaces where necessary.
RoaDyn measuring hubs are used in combination with servohydraulic test stands for simulations used to determine the service readiness of axles or complete vehicles. The measuring hubs with analog data interface are fully compatible with the test stand design concepts of:
• 1ST - Instron Structural Testing systems
• MTS
• Servotest
• MOOG-FCS
Source: Audi
Fully digital SSI interfaces have been developed and implemented for use throughout the following systems:
• IST-LabtronicTM
• MTS-RPC 3TM
• MOOG-FCS
Alternate operation with digital and analog interface is available as an option. For mechanical connection to the dummy wheel various adapters are available to suit the offset and pitch circle diameter or hole pattern.
All of the aluminum measuring hubs are designed for continuous use on test stands.
