Measuring Wheel - RoaDyn® S6HT System 2000

The RoaDyn S6HT is a multiaxial precision system for measuring three forces and three torques on a spinning wheel. It is intended for use in development and testing of commercial and special vehicle chassis components and complete chassis.

The force vector acting on the wheel is split into three orthogonal directions by purely mechanical means. Three forces (F_x, F_y and F_z) plus three torque values (M_x, M_y and M_z) are measured. The signals are amplified and passed on to the wheel electronics unit in the middle of the wheel. Additional channels for other sensors (such as tire pressure or temperatures) can also be connected and their signals transmitted. The out-board transmission unit is connected to the digital System 2000 on-board electronics unit via an extension cable. The electronic components can also be used for the RoaDyn S625/S635/S650 and certain RoaDyn P625/P650 measuring wheels.
