Measuring amplifier
Application Amplifiers convert the signals from sensors into voltages and currents, their circuitry needing to meet the highest accuracy requirements. Rugged
charge amplifiers now exist which are capable not only of coping with signal conversion under severe production conditions but can also carry out control tasks. A further development of the industrial charge amplifier comes equipped with a special fuzzy-logic chip, which detects the volumetric filling of the cavity and automatically switches the
molding machine from the injection pressure to the holding pressure phase. This reduces the setting-up time and leads to higher reproducibility of the process. Molded part characteristics are kept within a narrow tolerance band and scrap is considerably reduced.
Signal conditioners are used in application technology as well as research and development. They allow the recording of up to 32 variables from the
injection molding process and can be adapted to any measuring task. Process monitoring and analysis
Application The continuous monitoring of mold cavity pressure allows all process fluctuations to be detected. Thus, changes in the characteristics of the molded part due for example to fluctuations in viscosity or machine wear can be detected and corrected directly, so that scrap is minimized. In addition to process monitoring, with many injectionspecific functions, the DataFlow software facilitates documentation of the produc-tion process, enabling manufacturers to meet this important obligation to their customers. Process analysis represents an important step in process optimization. Optimum molded part qualities are achieved only when the cavity pressure curve matches the ideal curve. Process control
