Text version of the page
LR-Series Raman Lidar systems, in addition to the LB-Series, offer detection of Raman shifted scattering from Nitrogen. As a result the profiles of backscatter and extinction coefficient can be determined independently resulting in a significant reduction of associated uncertainties. Detection of the Raman shifted backscatter from water vapour molecules is also easily added, allowing for retrieving water vapour mixing ratio profiles with high temporal and spatial resolution.
• Excellent signal quality and measurement range
• 400 mm receiving telescope
• High power Laser energy
• Accurate profiling
• Eye-safe version available
For atmospheric aerosol and water vapour profiling, our Raman Lidar systems provide superior signal quality and measurement range.
LD-series Dial Lidar (Differential Absorption Lidar) technique is based on the use of a pair of wavelengths close to each other, with a large absorption coefficient difference. Such a pair of wavelengths, chosen for the detection of Ozone (photo chemical smog), is sent into the atmosphere and backscattered signals are compared. The concentration is retrieved as a function of distance. The powerful laser source emits 289 nm, 299 nm, 316 nm and 389 nm using Raman cells. This system measures tropospheric Ozone concentrations up to 12km.
• Accurate monitoring of Ozone concentration
• Day and night time operation
• Ozone concentrations down to 1 ppbr
• High accuracy grating Spectrophotometer
With an increasing need for investigating Ozone photochemical smog concentrations, the DIAL Lidar provides valuable information.
Lidar analysis software
With each Lidar system a comprehensive software suite is included to operate the system and perform extensive analysis of the measurement data. A graphical user interface makes it easy to use even for non Lidar experts. The software is pre-installed on the embedded computer of the Lidar system. In addition it can be installed on another computer. This allows for the user to operate the Lidar system remotely via the Ethernet interface of the system within a local network or over the internet.
A wide variety of processing algorithms are available for processing the data, based on the latest scientific insights within the Lidar community.
Each software license comes with 2 years of free updates.
