www.ketterer.de Parasols in all sizes and shapes are used when you need a place in the shade to escape from the sun in summer. Large-size sunshades are particularly difficult to operate because they can only gain the necessary stability through the use of heavy and massive components. Ketterer has developed a drive system for these parasols; this drive system completely relieves the user from manual work. An electrically driven spindle unit is integrated into the central tubing system of the screen. At the press of a button, the maintenance- free drive unit can open and close the sunshade quickly and safely. The self-locking property fixes the screen structure safely in the open and closed state. An “emergency manual adjustment” provides additional operating comfort. When, for instance, power fails, the screen can still be opened and closed by using a crank handle in the conventional manner. This drive unit combines comfortable operation, by means of an electric drive, with safe manual operation in emergency cases. It is functional and comfortable. See for yourself.
