A small and very precise drive was developed for the microscope arm to guarantee simple maneuverability, smooth movements and high positioning accuracy. It is characterized by a long service life under high operational demands and a noticeably low-noise operation. The arm has almost no play, guaranteeing the high positioning accuracy necessary. High gear-reduction allows very fine positioning settings. These special drives can be employed wherever an output is required with high torques and correspondingly reduced rotational speed.
