More and more so-called “Functional Furniture” is coming on to the market, in particular seating furniture such as armchairs or in the bedding industry. Ketterer has developed a small, space-saving special drive for this industry capable of executing a variety of movements powerfully, securely and quietly. At its heart are a motor-gear combination with matching spindle and an integrated position sensor. Armrests, seat height, angle of inclination and so on – these and other parameters can all be adjusted using only one drive type. It can be adjusted to suit ideally the respective application using different gear reductions and spindle combinations. A so-called “fork head”, which allows easy assembly and guarantees secure functioning, forms the standardized interface to the furniture. See for yourself and talk to us!
